Pacific Beauty Calendula
Calendula officinalis
Calendula is an annual flower, also known as Pot Marigold. This gorgeous blend of single, double and semi-double blooms simply glows in the summer sun. Colour ranges from yellow through peach to dark orange. Stems are particularly long making this a good cutting flower. Edible blossoms perform double duty and can be used on salads or to make herbal remedies.
Plants require very little care. Drought resistant and can be planted tightly together so that few weeds can gain a foothold. Once the flowers start, they will bloom all summer long through to a hard frost. Approximately 2 feet high.
