Sometimes called Satin Flower or Farewell to Spring, this stunning annual is small enough for containers, reaching just 1 to 1.5 feet tall. Delicate, silky petals form ruffled blooms, with buds lining the stems for a long and graceful display. Flower colors range from soft salmon pink to rich cherry red. Native to western North America, it also makes an excellent cut flower.

5-10 days to germinate. 75-90 days to maturity.
Can be started indoors for transplanting 4-6 weeks before last frost. Best direct seeded in the late spring garden when the soil has warmed. Cover seeds very lightly with soil when planting. Grows in sun to part shade.
