This heirloom lettuce originates in Italy. Bright green ruffled leaves are tipped with blush pink, resembling the blush on a woman’s cheeks after indulging in an aperitif! A favourite lettuce in our home as the looseleaf heads are lastingly sweet and slow to bolt. Add a dash of colour to your vegetable garden with this lettuce.

Direct seed in the garden as soon as the snow has melted. Lettuce prefers cool weather and/or shade.
