Peony Poppy
Papaver soniferum
Standing at approximately 3 feet tall, these beautiful poppies feature blue-grey foliage and fully double blooms in vibrant shades of coral, pink and purple. Grown by my wonderful neighbors, Penny and Gordon Frizzell, these poppies were generously shared so you could enjoy them too.
With their low-maintenance nature, poppies are a cottage garden favorite that self-seed year after year with minimal effort. If you're looking for a timeless, easy-care flower that brings vibrant color and a touch of nostalgia, these poppies are the perfect choice.
