Similar to oregano, leaves are tasty in sauces, soups and salads.  Can be used fresh or dried.  Perennial plants bloom in shades of pink and purple from midsummer to frost, attracting beneficial insects such as bees and hoverflies, as well as butterflies.

    7-14 days to germinate. 85 days to maturity.   

    Start seed indoors, sprinkle on surface of soil and do not cover as light is required for germination.  Transplant after the risk of frost has passed.
